The Philadelphia Phillies are in agreement with free agent right-hander Brad Keller on a two-year, $22 million deal, The Athletic reported on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old reliever is coming off a strong season with the Chicago Cubs, finishing 4-2 with a 2.07 ERA and three saves in 68 appearances (one start).
Keller was a starter for most of the first half of his career with the Kansas City Royals but the Phillies plan to keep him in the bullpen, per MLB Network.
He is 42-59 with a 4.14 ERA and five saves in 234 games (117 starts) with the Royals (2018-23), Chicago White Sox (2024), Boston Red Sox (2024) and Cubs.
