Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett scored 22 points each as the visiting Toronto Raptors posted their fifth straight win Wednesday with a 121-112 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.Toronto has won nine of its last 10 games overall with the lone exception being a home loss to Philadelphia on Nov. 8. However, the Raptors got even with this win thanks to key contributions from Ingram and Barrett, not to mention Jakob Poeltl (19 points), Immanuel Quickley (18) and Scottie Barnes (16 points, nine rebounds).Tyrese Maxey scored 24 points to lead Philadelphia, which shot 40% from 3-point range and dominated the glass (41-31), but also committed 21 turnovers. Quentin Grimes and VJ Edgecombe added 21 points apiece for the hosts. The Sixers trailed 103-87 with 10:26 left when Grimes' 3-pointer kicked off an 11-0 run. Grimes capped the push with a layup to get Philadelphia within five points with 7:46 remaining.Soon thereafter, Grimes hit 3-pointers on consecutive possessions to bring his team within 109-106. The margin was still three with 3:01 left when Quickley buried a 3-pointer to create a six-point advantage. On the next Toronto trip, Barnes slammed home his own miss. Quickley's 3-pointer with 1:19 to play essentially sealed the deal.Toronto led 33-28 after a first quarter in which Philadelphia committed eight turnovers. The Raptors went cold in the second quarter, missing all nine of their 3-pointers, as the Sixers roared back to take a 56-53 lead into the locker room.Maxey led all scorers with 15 points in the first half. He scored nine more in the third quarter, but the period belonged to Toronto, which outscored Philadelphia 44-26 thanks to 68.4% shooting.Ingram scored nine points in the first 4 1/2 minutes of the third quarter with his 3-pointer giving the Raptors a 74-66 lead. Shortly thereafter, Ja'Kobe Walter's 3-pointer gave the Raptors their first double-digit cushion - and they went on to lead by as many as 16 in the quarter.--Field Level Media
