Trevor Zegras scored two goals, earned an assist and buried the shootout winner as the visiting Philadelphia Flyers rallied past the St. Louis Blues 6-5 on Friday.
Christian Dvorak also logged two goals and an assist for the Flyers, who erased 3-1 and 5-3 deficits to force the shootout.
Owen Tippett had a goal and three assists for Philadelphia and Samuel Ersson made 12 saves -- then two more in the shootout.
Jordan Kyrou, Jimmy Snuggerud and Robert Thomas each had a goal and assist for the Blues. Justin Faulk and Holloway also scored and Cam Fowler earned two assists to reach the 500-point plateau in his career.
Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington made 26 saves in defeat, including a stop on Zegras' penalty shot in overtime to force the shootout.
St. Louis' final shootout effort, from Holloway, went wide to the right.
The Blues regained the lead 4-3 when Kyrou set up Holloway's goal 40 seconds into the third period. Thomas made it 5-3 by scoring from the slot off Snuggerud's pass from beside the net at 4:56.
Dvorak cut the gap to 5-4 by converting a turnover into a goal from the slot at 7:53. Tippett tied the game by scoring from the slot off a Zegras pass at 10:29.
Kyrou gave the Blues a 1-0 lead just 1:19 into the game by stealing a pass and wheeling in on right wing to score.
The Flyers tied the game 1-1 with a 3-on-2 rush with Zegras scoring from the slot off Dvorak's pass at 8:18 of the opening period.
The Blues answered with another rush goal midway through the first period. Thomas stole the puck, pushed it up the ice, then fed Snuggerud in the slot at 9:42, putting St. Louis up 2-1.
The teams exchanged second-period goals 23 seconds apart. St. Louis scored on Faulk's slap shot at 6:54, but Philadelphia answered with a goalmouth scramble that ended with Dvorak's rebound conversion to cut the deficit to 3-2.
The Flyers tied the game 3-3 with 1:36 left in the second period when Zegras deflected Emil Andrae's slap shot.
