Malik Williams and Louisville will look to snap a season-high three-game skid when Makai Ashton-Langford and Boston College visit Wednesday night for an Atlantic Coast Conference contest.
Williams scored a team-high 12 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the Cardinals' 65-53 setback at Pittsburgh on Saturday.
Louisville (10-7, 4-3 ACC) was within four at the break after a back-and-forth opening half, but the Panthers pulled away by outscoring the visitors 37-29 after halftime.
Noah Locke and El Ellis contributed 10 points apiece and Dre Davis had nine off the bench for Louisville, which was limited to just 33.3 percent shooting overall and 25.0 percent (7 of 28) from long distance.
"I think (we had) a few rushed (shots)," Williams said. "Just going on quick decisions. You know, not really working to get the best shot that we can create for the group."
Meanwhile, Boston College (7-8, 2-3) played one of its better second halves of the season while erasing a 23-point deficit in a 70-68 comeback win at Clemson on Saturday.
Makai Ashton-Langford had 17 of his team-high 19 points after halftime as the Eagles roared back and took the lead for good on Brevin Galloway's 3-pointer with 26 seconds remaining.
James Karnik chipped in 17 points and six rebounds while Galloway added 18 points for the second straight game off the bench for the Eagles. BC did not hold a lead in the game prior to his go-ahead basket.
The win snapped a five-game losing streak and gave the Eagles their first win since Dec. 3.
"We've had a couple tough weeks where we've lost some close games. We showed great perseverance and character," said Boston College coach Earl Grant. "We got down big, and then we just started chipping away. We got our hammer out, we just started chipping away."
Louisville owns a 9-4 advantage in the all-time series versus Boston College and has won two straight.
